Aloravita Southwest Grading Activities
Construction Activities:
Drilling and blasting activities are scheduled to begin soon to clear the way for future excavation and grading on the west side of 83rd Avenue, north of Happy Valley Road for Aloravita Southwest.
Blasting continues with the next scheduled blast for Zone 3 planned for Monday, July 13, between 10 a.m. and 12 noon.
Drilling and blasting activities are currently taking place in ZONE 3 (see graphic).
Blasting activities will take place weekdays (excluding major holidays) during daytime hours, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. An air horn will sound at 5 minutes and again at 1 minute prior to each blast. At the 1-minute warning, traffic along North 83rd Avenue will be temporarily stopped until the controlled detonation is complete, and the Blasting Supervisor issues an "ALL CLEAR". These interruptions are expected to last approximately 3-5 minutes. When possible, please use an alternate route to avoid delays.
Scheduled to begin in Summer 2026, Rummel will work to balance the site which will require transporting materials across 83rd Avenue from one side of the site to the other, as needed, so you may notice increased trucking traffic during these hauling activities.
